First off, you’ve got a 2-layer membrane to keep you dry, no matter how deep the snow gets, and every seam is sealed so not a single drop of moisture sneaks in. Next, that membrane is breathable, so you don’t overheat on the occasional bootpack or traverse, but you’ve still got underarm vents to help you out—just in case. Last but not least, there’s a toasty layer of AdrenaLoft to keep you warm when temperatures drop and you’re stuck on the lift. Outdoor Research was careful to include such features as a media-compatible chest pocket, a helmet-compatible storm hood, and hook-and-loop cuffs that can be fastened to create thumb loops. There’s nothing this gem of a jacket can’t do.
